Tree Strategy

Woodland Dwelling offers clear, practical support to develop, wrire or review your tree strategy. Our team has worked with councils, housing associations and community groups to create strategies that reflect local priorities and deliver real outcomes.

We dont take a one size fits all approach. Every project is shaped around your needs, wheather that’s increasing canopy cover, updating existing plans, or involving the public in decision-making. We can also run community engagement sessions to gather views and build support.

Between us, we’ve set up national forums, supported local action, and worked with policy at every level. If you’re looking for a fresh approach to your tree strategy, get in touch.

Case Studies

Woodland Dwelling has worked with West Northantonshire Council, to create a strategy with bold goals and a comprehensive action plan to enhance the health of West Northamptonshire’s trees, woods, and green spaces over the next 20 years.

The Tree and Woods Strategy sets out a powerful vision: to increase the tree canopy cover in West Northamptonshire from its current 9% to 20% by 2045.

To develop the Tree and Woods Strategy we carried out a detailed tree canopy assessment (using TreePlotter Canopy software), and extensive consultations, before delievering the final Strategy.
