Our Values

Here at Woodland Dwelling we work with nature and try to reduce our footprint.

Water: We are installing a new rain water harvesting system that will hold over 25,000 litres of water to use over the summer. This will be pumped when needed using solar power. We already have drip trays under all our trees to capture and hold as much water as possible to help our trees grow better.

Fertiliser: We dont use any chemical fertiliser on our trees.

Waste: We have very little waste, we reuse plant pots that smaller trees come in. Office waste such as paper and cardboard is either reused or recycled. Trees often come tied together with a twine. This is reused around the farm, often to secure the irrigation hoses to the wires between trees.

Tools and gloves: As part of our commitment to the environment when we plant with community groups and schools we hire out tools and gloves. These are cleaned and reused again and again.
